• 1756 - Composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born.

• 1956 - Elvis Presley's single, 'Heartbreak Hotel' was released by RCA Records. The song sold over a million copies, and was Elvis' first Gold record.

• 1961 - Leontyne Price made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.

• 1973 - 'Superstition' became Stevie Wonder's second No.1 single in the US, 10 years after his first No.1 hit. 

• 1991 - Whitney Houston sang the "Star Spangled Banner" at Super Bowl XXV.

In 1984, Cyndi Lauper released "Time After Time." I’ve always thought this song was devestatingly beautiful so I decided to take a swing at it and cover it myself. I didn’t realize how hard it is to sing! Tune in below to hear my take on this classic!
